International Laser Solutions for manufacturing China – the leading market magazine published by Ringier Trade Media – has recently announced the winners of the 2014 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for the Laer Industry. Ringier Technology Innovation Awards are regarded as the most important awards in China’s laser industry. 27 winning companies featured their 30 innovative products and technologies across 6 categories: Lasers, Laser systems for production engineering, Laser system components, System peripherals of laser production engineering, Optical materials and components,and others.
    The grand Awards ceremony and cocktail party was held at the Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai Hotel on March 19, 2014. More than 100 high-level delegates from winning companies such as TRUMPF (China), Rofin-Baasel, AMADA（CHINA）, KUKA Robitics, and Air Products together with professionals from authoritative associations, Ringier magazine readers and industry media attended the Awards ceremony. Winners shared their latest innovative technologies which drive development in China’s laser industry.
    It is very encouraging to see that Domestic fiber lasers have made their mark, such as 20w Mopa Pulsed Fiber Laser from Wuhan Raycus, 20W Smart Pulse Fiber Laser from Shenzhen iLuma Photonics.. Only by continuing to innovate can these and other Chinese companies win in a global market.The following products were also signaled out by the judges, which are G3015HD laser cutting machine from Han's Laser Technology, Fiber Laser cutting machine from Suzhou Lead, PLUS3015-Fiber 3000W from Wuhan Penta. And of course there are many more. 
    Mr. Michael R Hay, President of Ringier Trade Media, explains: “This event has been designed to drive innovation in China’s laser industry. As a celebratory platform, the purpose of the Awards are to encourage, acknowledge and reward those individuals and companies that have developed a new idea, a new methodology, a new product or a new technology for production efficiency, cost effectiveness, or user convenience, which results, for example, in energy saving and more responsible clean manufacturing.”
    The panel of judges and market professionals who presented the Awards to winners included Mr. Qihong Lou, Editor in Chief,OE Product & News, Mr. David Belforte. the Editor-in-Chief of Industrial Laser Solutions, Prof. Rongshi Xiao of Beijing University of Technology.
